Oor Hom
I’m a fairly down-to-earth guy, easy to talk to, and I enjoy a simple life without too much fuss.
I love nature, open spaces and the freedom of being outdoors. I’d far rather see an animal living wild in its natural surroundings than looking at me through the bars of a zoo.
I sometimes think it would be wonderful to fit out an RV, point it in a general direction and head off to explore South Africa and our neighbouring countries. No frantic itinerary and no need to be somewhere by Tuesday — just take the road as it comes, discover those little places most people drive straight past, and perhaps share a glass of wine beside a fire at the end of the day.
The fast, busy city life has never held much attraction for me. We seem to spend so much of our lives surrounded by screens, traffic, media and noise that it's easy to forget the simple pleasures — a quiet beach, mountains in the distance, the smell of rain, a good conversation, or looking up at a genuinely dark African sky filled with stars.
I believe there is an abundance of wonderful things around us if we slow down enough to notice them.
I’m not looking for someone exactly like me. Differences make life interesting. I’d simply like to meet a warm, genuine woman who is comfortable being herself, enjoys a good conversation and still has a sense of adventure.
Affection and intimacy are important to me too. I believe that closeness — holding hands, touching, cuddling, kissing and being physically intimate — is a natural and important part of a loving relationship. It’s not everything in a relationship, but I wouldn’t want a relationship without it.
Ultimately, I’d like to find someone with whom I can be completely comfortable — someone to laugh with, talk with, be close to and occasionally forget about the rest of the world with.
And perhaps someone who would be happy to take the road we haven't travelled before, just to see where it leads us.

Diamonds and fancy things aren't important to me. I’m more attracted to a woman who enjoys the simple things in life, loves nature and still has a sense of adventure.

You enjoy long walks along our beautiful coastline, discovering new places, spontaneous road trips and sometimes having no particular destination at all.

Chemistry is important — that little spark between two people shouldn't have an expiry date.
